Be quiet and listen. What is He saying to you at this moment in your life? This is your time. Stop and look around at the world surrounding you. What is He saying to you?

In preparation of the week to come, think about these things: where are we? where did we come from? where are we going?

When Jesus tells us “This is the time of fulfillment” he is encouraging us to live in the present moment. Be aware.

In my focus, I need to realize and truly believe that God’s timing is perfect. It is not always aligned with MY timing-but His timing is perfect. My mistakes, my successful ventures, everything in between–is all because His timing is perfect. It is His will, not mine. To find peace in my heart, I must accept this always.

Our call to action this 1st Sunday from Best Lent Ever  is to read Mark 1:12–15 and reflect on what God is telling you to do in this time in your life.

He’s telling me: Be grateful. Be full. Don’t repeat mistakes. Listen. Become the best-version-of-yourself. Listen to ME.

And I’m trying. I fail miserably at times, but other times, I hear him loud and clear and my heart is full.

This is the root of my JOY and my GRATITUDE. I thank God every morning, every night and throughout the day for blessing me with this man.

My best friend. My partner. My soulmate. My everything.

He is my rock. When I slip, he’s there, reaching his hand to hold and guide me. He supports me. He believes in me. Even when I don’t believe in myself.

He made me a wife, a mother.

And he takes me to dream musicals, like “Hamilton.” Because he’s awesome.
